The past like 3 weeks I have been crazy busy at work, primarily because of one client- Barber Chicken. They make frozen chicken dinners and the like-I have never actually tried any of their products. They are running a TV campaign in 15 markets...which is a lot of work and it all happened so fast! Needless to say all of the work is pretty much over now, so now I seem to have nothing to do....hence I blog! :)<br /><br />Moving onto weather- I am so over this snow bullish! Seriously we are not even out of January and it is just snow, snow, snow! I honestly love New England, especially in the fall. The fall is my favorite around here, so if it stayed October for 12 months I would be great but since that is impossible, I will most likely be moving out of this state in a few years! I really need some warmth, anyone for a vacation? Some place tropical. I want 2009 to be a year of new experiences for me...so I figured I would start off slow, and here I am! Kristen has been blogging for-ev-er, and I always enjoy reading her blogs...so I figure that I have a lot to say too god damnit, and even if I am the only one who ever reads this than that is just fine with me! :)<br /><br />So 2008 was kind of uneventful for me, but not nearly as bad as 2006 and 2007 did! Needless to say I am totally due a good year from the New Year gods or whoever gets to decide if they want to screw me over AGAIN or not!! Let's see what is different in January 09' that was not around in January 08'...<br />Well for starters I moved out of my house, and I now live in Weymouth with Matt. We have been together for over 8 1/2 years so I say that it is definitely about time! I am starting the year with the same job I had last January....and that is something new for me, since Chili's this is the longest lasting job that I have held (this goes hand in hand with the shitty 2006 and 2007).<br />I really like this job. I feel like this time I didn't settle for a random job that I would be viewing solely as a paycheck...this job is actually what I want my career to be in. So I feel like I am learning a lot being here and this is defintely a company that I would like to grow in or at least use as a stepping stone in furthering my career in marketing and media. Lets see, what else...well I am going to be a bridesmaid in Annie's wedding in October, but last January I was just coming back from Hillary and John's wedding, in which I was also a bridesmaid. Having frineds that are getting married and having babies really does make me feel old...it is scary! I really did not do too well turing 25 because it puts a serious perspective on my life. At 25, I feel like haven't done nearly as much with my life as I would have liked to. No house, not as advanced in my career as I would like, too much debt, still in MA, etc etc etc...<br />Traveling is a big deal for me. I really want to travel as much as possible before I pay for a wedding and have children or child. The only places that I have traveled to outside of this country are Canada, Mexico, Scotland and England...and I don't count Canada cause I have been going there once or twice a year since I was born and I don't count Mexico cause I was there for all of 5 hours!
